Firefighters hoist up car to free man who was trapped underneath
Firefighters helped free a man who was trapped under a car he was repairing today.
The man had trapped his hand between the car body and the engine.
Two crews from Braintree and two Urban Search and Rescue teams were called to Cressing Road, Braintree, at 1.10pm today.
Firefighters used an engine hoist, airbags and blocks to raise the car to free the man.
He was freed by 1.55pm.
