Holidaymakers flying from Stansted Airport will have ten new destinations to choose from this summer.

The airport will offer three new long-haul options as well as four additional European and north African routes.

New routes include Flybe services to Newcastle and Newquay.

Ryanair will offer travel to Deauville and the Azores and easyJet will launch a new connection to Monastir.

Thomas Cook will operate three new long-haul services to Orlando, Cancun and Las Vegas.

Travel fans will also be able to head to the Isle of Wight and Clermont.

Stansted’s managing director Andrew Harrison said: “The £80m transformation of our departure lounge couldn’t have been timed better as we continue to rapidly grow our passenger numbers.

“With phase two of the terminal re-development nearing completion, and with many more new shops and our Escape Lounge to follow very soon this really is a fantastic time to choose Stansted when jetting off for summer.”
