A Witham-based company has donated £9,000 to Brainwave Children’s Charity.
The charity provides therapy to children with disabilities and additional needs to help them achieve their potential.
The money from Crittall Windows will be used by the charity to part-fund the salary of a therapist at the centre and giving one of the therapists the opportunity to attend a specialised training course.
It will also fund various pieces of therapy equipment.
Phil Edge, CEO at Brainwave commented: “It costs Brainwave £3,500 per year per child to keep on our exercise therapy programme.
“We do not receive any Government funding and are totally dependent on donations.
“This donation will enable us to continue our work with disabled children and help them to achieve developmental milestones which in many cases are life-changing.”
John Pyatt, Crittall’s managing director, said: “We’re pleased the donation will have a real impact - the centre’s team does amazing work helping the children and their families.”
The cheque was presented to the charity on March 18.
