Galleys Corner McDonalds theft allegation probed by police.
POLICE are probing an alleged theft at the McDonalds car park in Braintree's Galleys Corner.
A white man in a dark red hooded jumper, dark jeans and white trainers arranged to meet two women to sell a mobile phone to them at about 4.30pm on Saturday, February 21.
The women arrived in a white Ford Fiesta.
It is alleged the man took the money and ran off without handing over the phone.
A passenger in the Fiesta chased the man to the car park in nearby Frankie and Benny’s and retrieved the cash.
