Burglars broke into a padlocked shed and stole three bikes worth nearly £12,000.
They struck at a house in Keyes Way, Braintree, overnight on February 15 and took two mountain bikes and a road race bike.
The first bike, worth £5,500, is a white Yeti mountain bike with full Silverback Fox suspension and has a model number of 575 and serial number 652059M.
A second white specialised mountain bike with front Fox suspension and Shimano gears and brakes worth £3,400, was taken, with a serial number M4107014.
A £3,000 Omega blue and white road race bike with black forks, white graphics and Omega written on the frame was also taken in the raid, with a serial number 982001.
