Teachers and pupils rocked out at an annual battle of the bands contest.
Talented musicians at The Helena Romanes School, in Parsonage Downs, Dunmow, took to the stage.
Winning band 33rpm featured students Matt Troup, Darren Walker, Callum Drury and James Geddes, who took inspiration from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Nirvana.
And there was a band of teachers, Jon Pollard, Neil Stewart, Stephanie Stewart, Sam Bay and Oli Lukeman, who together with Year 13 student Ryan Johnson performed Sweet Child of Mine.
