A man wielding a sledgehammer is wanted in connection with a burglary in Halstead.

Two hundred pounds worth of damage was caused to a door and a lock in Whitehouse Business Park, White Ash Green, after they were hit with the sledgehammer.

Nothing was stolen.

Since the break-in at around 7pm on November 2, police would like to identify these men in the CCTV images in connection with the crime.

They are white and one had short hair and was wearing a flat cap, jeans, a short anorak with a white stripe in the back of the collar and black gloves.

He was in his 40s and had stubble on his face.

The other man had dark brown short hair, was in his late 20s to mid-30s and was wearing a handkerchief over the bottom part of his face, a jacket and low hung army trousers.
