Armed police swarm Witham streets after hoax call about gun sighting
Armed police officers searched Witham streets after they received a call that a gun had been seen.
Police officers were called to King Edward Way at 7.50pm yesterday however enquiries found that the call was a hoax.
A 33-year-old man, who did not give police an address, was arrested at the scene in relation to another matter.
He is currently helping police officers with their enquiries.
