A hilarious adaptation of the traditional fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk is coming to Witham Public Hall.

A cast of 40 with more than 100 dazzling costumes from the award winning The Essex Group will be performing the show from Saturday until next Saturday.

Jack and the Beanstalk follows the tale of young Jack, who sells the family’s cow in return for some magic beans, which grow into a huge beanstalk.

When Jack climbs the beanstalk, he arrives at the home of a very rich giant and his wife.

The classic tale comes to life on stage with all the story’s familiar characters with a few others besides, and the production is also packed full of songs from S Club 7, Miley Cyrus and more.

It is a funny, tongue-in-cheek show for the all family, which will get everyone in the festive mood.

Get ready to boo at the baddies, cheer on the hero and laugh out loud at the slapstick comedy.
