Three carers from Essex have denied abusing a vulnerable woman in their care.
Anita Ray, 46, Adeshola Adediwura, 32, and Lorna Clark, 44, all from Braintree, worked at the Old Deanery care home in the town and were arrested following an investigation by the BBC's Panorama programme.
At Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, Ray and Adediwura denied assault by beating and ill-treatment or neglect of a person whose capacity was limited.
Clark pleaded not guilty to putting a person in fear of violence by harassment and ill-treatment or neglect.
The alleged offences date between October 2013 and February 2014 and relate to one alleged victim.
They will stand trial on June 15 and were all released on bail.
The trial is expected to last up to two weeks.
