A brave young woman impressed paramedics so much when she helped a lady hit by a car they have encouraged her to apply for her a job.
Sarah Clarke, 19, of Braintree, was driving along Coggeshall Road, in Braintree, last Wednesday at about 4.30pm when a lady got hit by a car at a pedestrain crossing.
She said: “I saw it happen and jumped out of my car.
“I started to talk to the lady on the floor and gave her first aid.
“I’m a nursery nurse so I have to know first aid, but this is the first time I have ever had to give it."
