A woman has been released from police bail after she was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following a stabbing.
Police officers, ambulance crews and the Essex Air Ambulance were called to Virgil Road, Witham, shortly before 3.30pm on June 8 to a domestic-related incident.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested and released on police bail to appear at Braintree police station last Wednesday.
A police spokesman said: “She has now been released from bail with no further action taken.”
At the time, the man was airlifted to Royal London Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
He was released from hospital a week later.
