A man has been rushed to hospital with chest injuries following a two-vehicle crash.
The accident happened near Blake End on the A120 at around 11.30am.
The road has now re-opened after being closed for around an hour.
A spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service said: “One male patient suffered chest injuries and has been taken to Broomfield Hospital for further care.
“His injuries are not life threatening.”
