Community choir Funky Voices records new album
A community choir has recorded a new album ahead of two scheduled performances in Braintree.
The Funky Voices choir, which has 300 members from across Essex and Suffolk, laid down the tracks at Braintree Arts Theatre on September 28.
The album will be released on iTunes before Christmas and will feature a variety of feel-good tracks, medleys and mash ups of recognisable songs.
Funky Voices will perform at Braintree Rugby Club Fireworks Night on November 5 and at the Braintree Christmas Lights Switch On on November 30.
People can join the choir in Witham every Wednesday from 8-10pm at Spring Lodge Community Centre, Powers Hall End, Witham.
