An emerging new theatre company, The Keeper’s Children, is bringing a modern day version of the classic thriller Frankenstein to Witham.

Part Bladerunner, part Frankenstein, part Slimming World, Beauty’s Legacy is a sci-fi comedy/drama about a revered geneticist who creates the most beautiful, stylish and vain monster the world has ever seen - with disastrous consequences.

Beauty’s Legacy rips through media culture, tears open financially obsessed societies and examines the value of the legacy we leave behind.

Following Suffolk previews in May, The Keeper’s Daughter represented East Anglia at the largest fringe festival in England, Brighton Fringe, where Beauty’s Legacy was selected by a panel of industry experts as part of the Fringe’s exclusive WINDOW week and went on to sell out their final performances.

Beauty’s Legacy visits Witham Public Hall on Saturday at 8pm, with tickets priced at £8 for adults and £6 for concessions. They can be booked by calling 01376 502674.
