Enjoy a special guided walk around Hoppit Mead Local Nature Reserve.

Landscape officers from Braintree District Council and local volunteers will be a leading the free guided walk around the site, in which renowned plant biologist, John Ray, recorded plants in the 17th century.

A tree officer from the council will also be hand to share his expertise on some of the specimens located in the reserve, whilst visitors are encouraged to bring along binoculars for some bird watching along the way.

The guided walk takes place at 10am on Saturday meeting at Marshalls Park Car Park in London Road, Braintree.
