Get a taste of Victorian and modern day sport with Braintree District Museum and Braintree Town Football Club.
A Victorian teacher from the museum will be explaining to children what sports were played during the era.
Braintree Town first team player Carl Pentney and two coaches will then give them a chance to practice their skills.
It runs at the Discovery Centre in Great Notley from 11am to 12.30pm on Wednesday.
Pay £3 on the day, or use the museum's Fantastic Five ticket (25 activities for £10) if you have one.
