Community groups can bid for a share of £125,000.

It has supported 29 projects since 2011, with amounts ranging from £1,500 to £25,000.
These included refurbishing practice nets at Halstead Cricket Club, a new Tarmac training area for Braintree BMX Club and sessions at Cressing Temple for people affected by mental health issues.
