Maltings Academy in Witham achieved its best ever GCSE results.
A total of 63% pupils gained five or more A* to C grades, including English and maths.
And 81% achieved an A* to C grade in English, while 72% scored the top grades in maths.
The latest results show the Spinks Lane school has seen a 21% rise over the past three years.
