A care home resident took a trip down memory lane as she reminisced with friends and family about her time serving in the Women’s Royal Navy Service.
Blodwin Carter, who is a resident at Bradbury House in New Street, Braintree, held a talk at the home about her time in the service among other former ‘Wrens’.
Staff at the home contacted the Association of Wrens to see if any of their members would like to visit the home to reminisce about old times after Mrs Carter enjoyed talking about her fond memories.
See this week's Braintree and Witham Times for the full story.
