Plans to build six new classrooms at a Witham primary school, which will help double the size of the school, have been given the go ahead.
Last week, councillors at Essex County Council gave the final approval to plans to build a new building, which will accommodate six classrooms and a library, and extend the existing school building at Chipping Hill Primary School in Owers Road.
The plans also include a walkway to the new building, an extension to the school’s kitchen, a play area and 12 additional car parking spaces.
