A woman in her 70s is in a serious condition in hospital after she fell down a flight of stairs.

Yes, I also hope she's OK but it must be a quiet day for news. It's terrible that she's had a serious fall but how many times a day does this sort of thing happen and not make the news? In fact, I'm not sure she'd want it out as news since most elderly people don't want to make a fuss. Has anyone asked her if she minds since presumably people locally will know who she is?

Hey STR - If I go 'Arrse over Teet' down the stairs I want details published right way.

Seems like it's the only time I'll ever get a 'Lovey Dovey Message' from Bhudeeka.

Gawd knows I've tried every other way!

Yes Omps but she won't know it's you because the headline won't read "Ompy goes A over T and is in a serious (are you ever?) condition in hospital. Bhuds won't recognise your real name!

But she will no doubt hear about it anyway STR; and is sure to come to visit me in hospital as part of her all pervading unifying compassionate nature in any case.

When she appears at the side of my bed with a bunch of grapes and a bottle of Lucozade it is then then that I shall 'reveal' (better be careful here - I think that's word I meant to use) myself to her!
