Braintree Community Centre is holding a whole host of fun activities over the school holidays.
The centre is operated by Braintree and Bocking Community Association with the aim to improve the condition and quality of life of those living in the district through the provision of facilities at the centre for education, recreation and leisure time activities.
Throughout weekdays in August there will be a variety of different arts and craft workshops available for all to join in, including Chinese painting in colour, machine embroidery, smocking, still life pastels, Tunisian crochet, hand sewn cushions and gold work embroidery.
All workshops last one day and run from 10am to 4pm and cost £18 for adults and £9 for children aged between ten and 16.
For the dates of particular workshops and for more information, call the centre office on 01376 323280.
