Louise Partner, of Braintree, has a vast collection of Betty Boop figurines and memorabilia which she has been building for seven years.
Retired BT engineer Bill Chewter, of Black Notley, has an impressive collection of Goebel Monks and Cardinals.
He began collecting the German porcelein figures about seven years ago and has now amassed more than 80 salt and pepper pots, table lighters and other utensils.
