Friends and colleagues paid tribute to a popular sports teacher who died last year by remembering him with a memorial cricket match.
Alan Bailey was a much-loved teacher at Maltings Academy, in Spinks Lane, Witham, who died following a short battle with cancer last July.
Terling Cricket Club - where Mr Bailey was a batsman - hosted the fundraising 20/20 match for Macmillan nurses.
The day, which raised more than £400, was also held in memory of club member Maureen Linnett.
