Four long serving teachers bade farewell after clocking up 86 years of teaching children between them.
Holy Family Primary School in Maltings Lane, Witham, held a party at the end of term for Ellen Watkinson, Jo Silver, Brenda Evans and Sue Bartlett.
Deputy head Ellen had worked there for 24 years, Jo and Brenda had each clocked up 26 years and Sue had completed ten years.
Headteacher Ann Kelliher said: βIt has been an honour working with all four members of staff and they will be greatly missed.β
Both Jo and Brenda recently received a long service award from Essex County Council.
