Witham Masonic Hall raised £2,000 for eight charities over one weekend.
Members of the lodge in Maldon Road invited residents to an open day recently, followed by a tour of what goes on inside the hall.
Money raised will go to charities including Helen Rollason Cancer Charity and Essex Air Ambulance.
