A budding football star was the talk of the playground after bringing one of sport’s most coveted trophies to school.
Toby King, 12, who goes to Felsted Preparatory school and plays for West Ham United Academy, was given the Barclay’s Premier League trophy for the day to recognise his commitment.
Barclays Bank’s Little Book of Wonders donated the cup for a special assembly at the school and provided all Felsted Preparatory and Senior school pupils with a once in a lifetime photo opportunity on Friday 20 June.
Toby, who lives in Ingatestone, hopes it’s not the last he will see of the prize.
He said: “It was the best moment of my football career so far and I hope to lift it as a winning footballer one day.”
