A man in his late teens had to be cut free from wreckage after an accident on Galleys Corner yesterday.
The man was taken to Broomfield Hospital for a potential spinal injury after complaining of neck and back pain.
Two fire engines from Braintree were called to the accident between two vehicles at 7.01pm and used specialist cutting equipment to free the man by 7.39pm.
East of England Ambulance service were called just after 6.30pm and dispatched a rapid response car and ambulance.
