Three people were rescued by fire crews after they were trapped in an overturned vehicle.
The incident, which happened shortly before 12.12am today on Witham Road, Cressing, involved one vehicle leaving the roadway.
Crews used specialist cutting equipment to free the three casualties by 12.50am.
They were treated by East of England Ambulance service after a rapid response car, ambulance and paramedic officer were dispatched.
The casualties did not require hospital treatment and were left in the care of Essex Police.
