A mum of two has spoken of her shock at finding a used syringe in a Braintree churchyard where families and workers often eat lunch.
Jeanette Curtis, 42, of Porters Hill, spotted the needle near a wall outside St Michael’s Church on June 13.
She said: “I was shocked actually because I have never seen anything like that, so it was a bit of a worry.
“I was surprised to see it in a churchyard.”
