Enjoy the longest day of the year with a story walk.
Popular storyteller Mike Dodsworth is well known for entertaining children with his stories, but on June 20, he is inviting adults to join in on a walk of the arboretum, a botanical garden devoted to trees. This is the first time the Marks Hall, a country estate on Marks Hall Road, Coggeshall, has run the event for adults.
Along the way, he will regale you with stories of the summer solstice before you all return to the visitor centre for a summer supper of quiche and salad and soft drinks.
The event takes place from 6pm.
