An Air Ambulance was called after a man had a cardiac arrest.

The man, believed to be in his 60s, suffered the cardiac arrest on Maldon Road, Witham.

The Ambulance service was called just after 4pm yesterday and sent a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the air ambulance.

A spokeswoman from the Ambulance Service said: “The man was taken by the land ambulance to Basildon hospital.”
