Braintree and Witham Times: Burglars leave empty handed from a Witham house Burglars leave empty handed from a Witham house

Burglars left empty handed from a house in Witham.

The ground floor rear double glazed window of the house, in Teign Drive, was forced open and items were moved around in the upstairs main bedroom.

The burglars opened the window in the bedroom and also one in the upstairs rear facing bathroom window.

Nothing was taken in the break-in on Monday 9 just after 10am.

Doesn't sound like the actions of a burglar does it? Items were moved around and windows were opened. You could almost think someone got the wrong house, couldn't get in and forced open a window only to find it wasn't their house. Very odd in any event.

Somewhat discerning burglars perhaps?

BTW, how does the BWT know that there was more than one burglar?
