Three cars have been broken into in a week.

A Renault Kangoo was parked on London Road, Rivenhall when it was broken into last June 9 at 5.15pm.

It is not known how entry was gained to the car but a Samsung S5 mobile, worth about £500, was taken.

The following day, a kindle and work bag were taken from a black Renault Clio parked on Saxon Drive, Witham.

The front nearside window was smashed just before 7am.

Then on June 14, a bag, laptop, kindle, a hardrive and a camera were stolen from a red Citroen Berlingo.

The car was parked on Spa Road before 8am when thieves used a jemmy to force the window and then opened the doors from the inside.

POLICE are appealing for information after two lorries had fuel stolen from them.

Thieves removed £350 worth of fuel from a white Mercedes 2546 lorry which was parked on London Road, Rivenhall on June 10.

The fuel was stolen at about 5am that morning.

On June 12, 150 litres of diesel were stolen from a white Mercedes heavy articulated lorry after thieves damaged the fuel cap.

The fuel was worth approximately £198 and taken whilst the lorry was parked on the A12, near Hatfield Peverel at about 5am.
