Hundreds of children enjoyed playing in the sunshine at Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens.

The fundraising committee of the gardens’ trust organised a three-day Little Legs Preschooler Festival, attracting as many as 500 visitors each day.

Committee chairman George Canvin said: “It was as big a success as it was last year.
“Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.”
