Police officers are cracking down on nuisance mini motorbikes in Witham.
Residents claim riders of mini motos, as they are known, are often seen riding dangerously in the Humber Road area of the town.
Chloe Godfrey-Chaplin, who lives in nearby Yare Avenue, said she sees mini motorbike riders going past her house regularly.
She said: “Very often I hear it before I see them whizz round.
“They take corners quite sharply.
“I have seen them on pavements in the past, I think they head for the farmers field at the top of Humber.”
