Tributes have been paid to an “amazing tattooist” and family man, who died after a cancer battle.

Dad-of-three Richard Knight, aged in his late 30s, inked elaborate designs at his studio, Fine Line Tattooing, based in Maltings Lane.

Customer Danni Cook, 25, of Halstead, said: “Richard was a kind, caring and loving family man.

“I had the privilege of knowing him through his work in which he was an amazing and talented artist.”

RIP Richard. You have tattooed my entire family over the past few years and you were always so welcoming. A complete gentleman and a fine artist. You will be missed. Sleep well and God Bless x
