Ducklings, lambs and even a shetland pony are helping to attract half-term crowds to Braintree today.
Gemma's Farm came to George Yard to introduce children to the joy of keeping animals.
Cherry the shetland pony, Bob the cockerel and Roo the collie were all star attractions along with a pen of fluffy chicks.
The event will continue throughout the day.
