Police are appealing for information following a burglary near Great Dunmow.

Burglars are believed to have entered the property at Pound Field, Great Easton, on May 21 between 6.45am and 3.30pm, by smashing a rear window.

Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery were taken including a Tiffany dragonfly necklace and earring set, a Guess leopard-print watch, a white gold sapphire ring, an Omega Seamaster watch and a pink leather Pandora bracelet.  

Investigating officer Dc Rebecca Kidby said: "I’m keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who has been offered jewellery of a similar description.”
