Ballerinas invited to audition for Phantom of the Opera
Budding ballerinas are invited to audition for a show.
The Essex Group, whose previous shows include West Side Story, Notre Dame and Les Miserables, will be performing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon in October.
The company, based in Braintree, are looking for about 20 female ballet dancers who are ideally grade five or higher to audition on June 1st.
They are also seeking singers aged between 12 and 21.
The audition will last for approximately 1 ½ hours and anyone interested should contact Ann Sullivan on 01376 567677.
