One third of Braintree district turns out to vote on Europe
Figures from Braintree council reveal that just over one third of people in the district turned out to vote in the European election yesterday.
The polls received 37,523 votes in all which is equivalent to 34.03% of the registered voting population of Braintree district.
Results of the election are expected to be released on Sunday May 25.
