Thieves stole a car’s tax disc after they smashed a window.

The front nearside window of a black Ford Mondeo, index number AK54 KCU, was smashed in Warner Drive, in the Springwood Industrial Estate, Braintree, on Saturday.

 

A moped worth £1,200 has been stolen.

Thieves took the orange Piaggio moped, index number EU10 EYB, from Baker Way, Witham, last Wednesday.

 

Hundreds of pounds worth of fuel have been stolen from trucks parked by the A12.

Last Thursday, £200 worth of fuel was taken from a white Renault truck, which was parked on the A12 at Witham.

The day before, thieves stole £550 worth of diesel from a lorry’s tank, which was parked on the stretch of road by Keveldon.

The 400 litres of diesel were taken from the tank of a yellow Volvo HGV, index number LVY 406.

 

Witnesses saw thieves take a quad bike by storing in the back of a van.

According to the unknown witness, thieves in a white Ford Transit van pulled up in Station Road, Kelvedon, last Thursday.

They placed the green Kawasaki KVF 650 quad bike, worth £2,500, in the back of the van and drove off.

 

Thieves stole a car worth £3,600.

The grey Ford Focus, index number LA56 UXV, was taken from Campbell Road, Witham, on Sunday.
