A mum whose cat was run over has thanked the Good Samaritan who took him to the vets.

Eighteen-month-old Marley was fatally injured after he was hit by a car near McDonalds at Galleys Corner in Braintree.

Owner Gemma Cloke, of Plains Field, Braintree, is appealing for the man who took her pet to the Millenium Vets, in Millenium Way, last Tuesday to come forward so she can thank him for trying to save Marley’s life.

The full-time mum to Skye, nine, Chenai, eight, Paris, six, and Maddison, eight months, said: “I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am."
