Petrolheads are preparing to flock to the annual Roundwood car, motorbike and scooter show.

The show, held at Essex Cares’ Roundwood Garden Centre, Round Garden Training Centre, Church Street, Braintree on Sunday, started in 2010 with just 25 cars, but it has since grown and last year there were more than 200 vehicles.

The garden centre provides work based training for vulnerable adults, in the nursery and the cafe.

Sue Turner, Community Support Administrator at Roundwood, said: “We have ordered some good weather. We’ve been lucky in previous years so we are keeping our fingers crossed. The cars range from classic cars to custom and vintage ones, too.”

Entrance to the event, which runs from 11am until 3pm, is free and entertainment on the day includes a hog roast, live music, a beer tent, noodle bar, craft tent, homemade cakes, ice creams, plants for sale and face painting.
