Fire investigators have ruled out suspicious activity after a blaze caused up to £40,000 of damage at a Braintree truck yard.

Fire crews arrived at Armill Lift Trucks, in Crittall Drive, at the Springwood Industrial Estate, just before 6am on Saturday to find a temporary structure containing two fork lifts and a Vauxhall van alight.

Managing director Gary Miller said the blaze could have been a lot worse if work had gone to plan before the weekend.
