A schoolgirl has the world at her feet after ground-breaking treatment helped her overcome a devastating spinal condition.
Twelve-year-old Grace Harman, a pupil at Tabor Academy, suffers from scoliosis, or a curvature of the spine.
Diagnosed with the condition three years ago, it had progressed to the point where only a traumatic operation offered hope she could be spared a life of pain and debility.
At the beginning, Grace complained of aches and pain after standing up for too long but it was only after a car crash and X-rays that parents Claire and David learnt the truth.
See this week's Braintree Times for the full story of Grace's amazing recovery.
