A supermarket giant will lodge a last minute appeal against Braintree Council’s decision to refuse plans for a massive new store.
Braintree Council threw out Sainsbury’s proposals for the site on the Broomhills Industrial Estate, claiming it would harm town centre shops.
The chain has now revealed it will fight the decision in the hope of creating 400 new jobs.
