Warner Textile Archive celebrated a successful textile fair.
The archive’s fourth fair saw 400 people attend from across East Anglia and even from as far afield as Wales and the west country.
With stallholders, demonstrations, talks, tours and exhibitions located across the archive, the town hall and the district museum, everything textile was celebrated in this tribute to the town’s cultural heritage.
Councillor John McKee, Chairman of Braintree District Museum Trust Ltd, said: “This year’s textile fair proved a great success, raising awareness of the important work of the Warner Textile Archive and the Trust.
“It was a fitting way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the archive’s nationally-significant collection of textiles and designs returning to Braintree.”
