Free diabetes check taking place in Witham
Residents are being offered a free blood pressure test and diabetes screening.
Witham Lions Club are inviting people to attend the free event on May 16 at Witham Town Hall, Newland Street from 10am until about 2pm.
According to Diabetes UK, there are 3.2 million people diagnosed with diabetes in the UK and an estimated 630,000 people who have the condition, but don’t know it.
